Guayabera Fest Safety & Entry Guidelines

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests and to expedite entry into the festival grounds, clear bags are encouraged and all bags are subject to search upon entry.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted inside the festival grounds:

• Bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12”

• Backpacks

• Ice chests or coolers

• Weapons of any kind

• Illegal substances

• Gang-affiliated items (including rockers, bandanas, or similar items)

• Outside food or beverages

• Smoking or vaping inside the venue (guests must fully exit the event area to smoke or vape)

Approved Exceptions

Diaper Bags

Diaper bags are permitted when accompanying a guardian and child and must contain childcare-related items such as diapers, wipes, and other infant necessities. All diaper bags will be screened prior to entry.

Cloth or Canvas Folding Chairs

Guests may bring cloth or canvas folding chairs in carrying bags (such as those sold at sporting goods stores).

• Metal folding chairs are not permitted.

• Chair bags will be screened prior to entry.

Medically Necessary Bags

Bags required for medical equipment or accommodations may be permitted when the items cannot reasonably fit within a standard bag size. Examples include:

• Medication storage requiring cooling

• Oxygen tank carriers

• Bags needed for lactation pumps

Medical items that can fit within a standard bag—such as pill bottles, inhalers, epi-pens, syringes, or diabetic snacks—should be brought in bags that meet the size requirements.

All medically necessary bags will be screened prior to entry.

Guayabera Fest reserves the right to prohibit any item deemed unsafe or unsuitable by event security. The list above is provided as a courtesy and may not include every restricted item.
